Since its inception in 2006, the AIPC Academy has been a cornerstone of professional development for convention center professionals. Originally aimed at preparing staff for senior management roles, the Academy now includes forums for experienced managers to collaborate on strategies for today’s industry challenges.. 

Expanding Horizons: The Growth of AIPC Academies 

In addition to the well-established AIPC Academy in Brussels, AIPC has expanded globally. The second edition of the Africa Academy will be held in Kigali, Rwanda, and the inaugural ANZ  Academy will launch in June 2025. The third edition of the Canadian Academy will also take place later this year, fostering innovation and collaboration among Canada’s emerging convention center leaders. These regional programs ensure tailored professional development is accessible across diverse markets.

In partnership with the Australian Business Events Association (ABEA), this academy provides a premier leadership training program tailored to the ANZ region, offering practical insights into venue management best practices. 

Designed to support Africa’s growing convention industry, this academy focuses on venue management essentials while fostering collaboration among African professionals.
