Press release – GL events become AIPC’s first group member

BUDAPEST (July 4th, 2022) – During the AIPC Annual Conference, taking place at HUNGEXPO, Budapest, GL events and AIPC officially announced that GL events will become AIPC’s first group member as from January 2023.

The theme of this year’s edition of the AIPC Annual Conference was “Re-Shaping The Future” and HUNGEXPO, part of GL events Group, was the perfect host venue, having gone through a complete transformation over the last 2 years.

During the official opening, Mr Ganczer, CEO of HUNGEXPO and Mr O’Dell, President of AIPC, proudly announced that as from January 2023, GL events will become a group member of AIPC, resulting in full membership of all the convention centers with GL events Group. GL events Venues currently manages 53 Venues in 13 countries around the world, including 24 convention centers.

A message from Mr Cizeron, CEO of GL events Venues, one of the 3 divisions of GL events Group, accentuated the value AIPC brings to its community in terms of education, quality standards and networking, providing the key rationale to make all the GL events convention centers part of that community : “joining the AIPC Family is embracing its high level of quality, combined knowledge and experience, educational and ethical values.”
