Messe Wien becomes VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center

Exciting changes are taking place in Vienna’s world-class event industry! Following the City of Vienna’s acquisition of RX Wien GmbH, the renowned Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center has officially rebranded as VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center. This transformation marks an important milestone in the evolution of one of Europe’s leading venues for international congresses, exhibitions, and business events.

As part of this transition, the operating company has also changed its name from RX Wien GmbH to Wiener Messe und Congress GmbH, reflecting its commitment to innovation, excellence, and the continued development of Vienna as a global meeting hub.
