Anhembi District provides to event organisers: an exhibition area of 76,225 sqm, a congress center including 4 auditoriums, 5 halls, 4 modular rooms and a « Cultural Promenade » (Sambodrome), an outdoor place dedicated to cultural and sporting events.
Anhembi District will benefit from a major modernisation and expansion project which includes: the renovation of the exhibition halls, the construction of a Congress Centre of more than 100,000 sqm and a 20,000-seat arena, in partnership with Live Nation and Oak View Group.
This future large event and cultural complex of 400,000 sqm will be inaugurated in 2024. Ideally located, Anhembi District is at the intersection of the North-South and East-West axes and close to 3 airports, and 2 of are international.
