Insights from Natalie O’Brien AM: Leading MCEC into the Future

Natalie O’Brien AM took on the job of Chief Executive of the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center (MCEC) at the start of this year, replacing former AIPC Board Member Peter King, who finished with the business at the end of 2022 after 11 years at the MCEC.

As the newly appointed Chief Executive of MCEC, she is responsible for the overall management, business plan delivery and future strategic direction of MCEC and the operational planning for the new Geelong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Nathalie is a former CEO of Food and Wine Victoria, producers of Australia’s Melbourne Food & Wine Festival.
