As we move into the next phase of the year, AIPC continues to build momentum across its key programmes, reinforcing its role as a platform for insight, connection, and industry advancement.
Your Voice Matters: AIPC Member Survey 2026
For 17 years, the AIPC Member Survey has been a cornerstone of industry benchmarking. In today’s rapidly evolving environment marked by rising costs, shifting client expectations, late booking patterns and accelerating technology adoption, its relevance is stronger than ever.
The data collected will not only define year-over-year benchmarks across attendance, revenue and performance, but also provide critical insights into how centres worldwide are adapting their strategies. Results will be presented in two dedicated webinars in July.
We strongly encourage all members to participate by 30 April. Your input directly shapes the insights that support our collective strategy.
Understanding a Changing World: Global Socio-Political Impact Survey
In parallel, AIPC is once again joining forces with global partners to launch the 2026 Global Socio-Political Impact Survey. This initiative aims to better understand how geopolitical shifts and global unrest are impacting our industry from operations to delegate behaviour and to ensure that our collective voice remains informed and relevant.
Benchmarking for Strategic Decision-Making
The AIPC Operational & Financial Benchmarking Programme returns for its 10th edition, led by HLT Advisory. This initiative provides participating centres with confidential, tailored reports and an aggregate industry overview to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
New for 2026 is the introduction of a KPI Dashboard, offering a clear executive snapshot to support decision-making at leadership level, as well as a simplified reporting option for Momentus users.
Strengthening Connection Through Experience
Beyond data and analysis, AIPC continues to deepen its connection with members through direct, on-the-ground engagement.
As part of this approach, a staff internship initiative has been launched, with Sara Sorouri currently embedded within member centres to better understand their day-to-day operations, challenges and priorities. Recent insights gathered during a visit to Prague Congress Centre highlight the complexity of operations, evolving client expectations, and the importance of peer knowledge sharing across the industry.
This initiative aims not only to strengthen AIPC’s understanding of its members, but also to create stronger connections between teams and foster a more grounded, practical exchange of experience across the network.
AIPC would like to warmly thank Lenka Žlebková, CEO of the Prague Congress Centre, for making this internship possible and for her openness in supporting this initiative.
Knowledge Sharing & Community Engagement
AIPC continues to invest in platforms that foster connection and shared learning. The Voices of Venues Around the World podcast will resume in April, bringing forward new conversations and perspectives from across the global community.
Looking Ahead
Across surveys, benchmarking, field engagement and knowledge-sharing initiatives, one clear message emerges: AIPC is evolving with its members and helping them navigate an increasingly complex and fast-changing environment.
