The International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Union of International Fairs (UFI) and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) to jointly co-fund and support the work of ISO Technical Committee 354 (ISO TC 354).
This strategic collaboration reflects a shared commitment by the three global associations to advance internationally harmonised standards for the business events sector. ISO TC 354 is responsible for developing international standards covering meetings, conventions, exhibitions, and related event services, with the aim of improving consistency, quality, and professionalism across global markets.
By co-funding and actively supporting the committee’s work, AIPC, UFI and ICCA ensure that the collective expertise and practical realities of the industry are represented in the standard-setting process. This initiative strengthens the global voice of the business events sector and reinforces its leadership in shaping future international standards.
