The AIPC Quality Standards Program remains the only certification framework developed specifically for convention and exhibition centres, providing an independent and structured assessment of management performance across eleven key operational areas. Through a rigorous external audit, the programme supports centres in strengthening governance, enhancing credibility, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. 

Covering areas such as customer service, facility operations, employee relations, health and safety, cybersecurity, inclusivity, sustainability, financial integrity, and community engagement, the Quality Standards reflect the evolving priorities of the global meetings industry. Centres consistently report that the process not only validates existing best practices, but also delivers valuable insights that support strategic decision-making and internal alignment. 

In this context, AIPC is pleased to congratulate the Halifax Convention Centre on achieving Gold Level re-certification once again. This accomplishment places Halifax among a select group of AIPC members worldwide that have demonstrated sustained excellence, transparency, and leadership at the highest international level.
