Registration is now open for the AIPC Annual Conference 2026, taking place from 28 June to 1 July 2026 in Bilbao, Spain.
Hosted at the iconic Euskalduna Bilbao Conference Centre, the conference will bring together convention centre leaders from around the world to explore how innovation, people and community converge to shape the future of our industry.
The three-day programme will be structured around three distinct themes, offering a clear narrative and focus for each day:
- Day 1 – Innovation & Transformation
- Day 2 – People & Hospitality
- Day 3 – Legacy & Community Impact
Through keynote sessions, case studies, interactive formats and peer-to-peer exchanges, participants will explore how venues can drive change from within, strengthen partnerships, and create lasting value for their cities and communities.
Please note that the AIPC General Assembly will not take place during the conference. It will be held online in advance, allowing the Bilbao programme to focus fully on learning, exchange and strategic discussion.
Bilbao itself is an integral part of the conference experience. A major highlight of the social programme will be a guided visit and dinner at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, offering a unique setting where architecture, culture and conversation come together. Additional social experiences will showcase the city and region, with optional visits, including San Mamés Stadium.
The venue is within walking distance of major hotels. With hotel rooms available at specially negotiated rates, early booking is strongly encouraged
Bilbao 2026 promises to be more than a conference. It will be a celebration of ideas, innovation and meaningful human connection.
