AIPC Academy … or should it be Academies

The 2023 edition of the AIPC Academy will take place in Brussels, from March 12^th till March 17^th. This year’s programme will be focusing on leadership, finance, technology and security. Next to lectures from global thought leaders on these topics, we will also emphasize the “learning by doing” via role play and team challenges. As every year, the ambition is to provide upcoming convention centers leaders with an unique opportunity to learn and connect, resulting into calls for actions and a global network of peers. The success of the AIPC Academy has not been unnoticed by our partner associations. In 2023 – for the first time ever – a “local” academy will be organized. AIPC and the Convention Centers of Canada (CCoC) will co-create a Canadian AIPC Academy, which will take place in Toronto (May 15^th till May 18^th). This Academy will be open to the Canadian convention centers and their partners. Barry Smith – Executive Director of CCoC – and AIPC are looking forward to delivering a great educational experience, which – if successful – might result into similar initiatives in other countries or regions.
