AC 2025 – A discovery trip – Be prepared

The theme of the 2025 AIPC Annual Conference is “Meet the world. See the future”. The conference will take place at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Conference, the world’s largest venue with over 400,000 m2 of rentable space. During the conference, you will be provided with insights on the Chinese events industry, see Shenzhen World in action and be given access to the research & development campuses of some China’s leading technology companies. All this in addition to the “classic” networking opportunities, lectures and debates.

It is also good to know that Hong Kong is only 20 minutes away with the bullet train and that a one-hour ferry trip will take you to Macau. Please note that both Hong Kong and Macau are considered different territories than mainland China, meaning that – if you want to visit these cities during your stay in Shenzhen – you need to have a “multiple entry” visum.

Therefore, it is important to carefully prepare your participation and make sure that visa-documents are requested in time according to the rules which apply to your country. We would also recommend booking your flights as soon as possible in order to avoid high travel costs.
