6 New Centres Joined the AIPC Community in 2025

We’re thrilled to welcome six outstanding convention centres to the AIPC family! Spanning from Asia to Europe and North America, these new members bring fresh perspectives, dynamic venues, and a shared commitment to excellence in the convention industry. Their addition strengthens our global voice and reinforces our mission to connect the world’s leading convention centres. 

???? Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center (China)
A cutting-edge venue in Hangzhou’s Airport Economic Zone, inspired by silk and fan heritage. With 18 halls, 300,000 sqm of exhibition space, and a 7,000-seat event centre, it’s Zhejiang’s largest convention destination. 

???? Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) (China)
A powerhouse in Asia’s exhibition industry, SNIEC is a Sino-German joint venture hosting 100+ international trade shows yearly and welcoming nearly 7 million visitors across its 300,000 sqm venue. 

???? Shenzhen International Communication Center (China)
A new icon in the Pearl River Delta, located in Shenzhen’s financial hub, SICC offers 220,000 sqm of conference space and 1,000 hotel rooms. Designed for 10,000 delegates, it delivers seamless, high-tech experiences for global events. 

???? Folkets Hus (Sweden)
A cornerstone of civic life in Stockholm, Folkets Hus blends social values, history, and innovation under one iconic roof. Just minutes from the central station, it offers flexible spaces for up to 1,500-person congresses. The venue will feature the latest technology—ready to welcome a new era of events while honouring its proud tradition as “the people’s house.”  

???? Roma Convention Center “La Nuvola” (Italy)
Designed by visionary architect Massimiliano Fuksas, “La Nuvola” features 26,000 sqm of flexible space, including a 5,000-seat hall and 1,800-seat auditorium. Located in Rome’s EUR district and connected to a 439-room Hilton, it’s ideal for global events. 

???? St. John’s Convention Centre (Canada)
Located in Newfoundland’s capital, the centre offers 47,000 sq. ft. of space, modern tech, and panoramic harbour views—delivering East Coast warmth and flawless event execution..
