Manchester Central further bolsters its sales and events teams
The North of England’s leading conference and exhibition venue has further strengthened its sales and events teams with the addition of several new appointments.
Manchester Central recently welcomed Ruth Halliday and Danielle Kidron in Sales Account Manager roles – Danielle overseeing Public Sector client accounts, whilst Ruth joins the Corporate Sales Team.
Both Danielle and Ruth bring extensive knowledge of Manchester to their roles, having spent two years working as part of Manchester Town Hall Complex Events.
New recruits, Sarah Copas and Dean Meehan also join the venue’s Events Team as Event Manager and Senior Event Manager, respectively.
Dean comes to Manchester Central after spending 10 years working at The O2 in London – the latter six as Venue Manager and leader of the Guest Relations department.
Sarah Copas began her role as Event Manager at the end of 2017, having previously organised a number of large-scale exhibitions and events for higher education body, UCAS.
Shaun Hinds, CEO of Manchester Central, said: “I am so proud to lead such a fantastic team at Manchester Central and these new appointments are no exception.
“A world-class venue attracts world-class talent and I’m looking forward to working with our new sales and events colleagues as we continue to provide an outstanding backdrop for some of the world’s leading events.”
